Framico collects personal data in the following situations:

• Account Creation and Orders: When you create an account or place an order, we collect information, including your name, email address, postal address, phone number, payment details (credit/debit card, PayPal), product design drafts, order history, and communication records.

• Invitations: When you invite others to use our services or share your design library, we collect the invitees' email addresses and any other information you provide.

• Customer Service Interactions: Contacting us for product inquiries or customer support may involve collecting your contact details and the content of your communications.

• Design Submissions: We collect any content you upload or submit for product design, including images, text, logos, and associated information.

• Automatic Data Collection: Our website automatically gathers data through cookies, pixel tags, and server logs. You can opt out of this data collection as detailed in our Cookie Policy.

  
  

Google User Data

If you choose to connect a Google Account to import images for your custom print designs, Framico requests the following Google API scopes:

• drive.readonly — to let you browse and select individual files from your Google Drive for use in a print design.

• drive.metadata — to display file names, thumbnails, and folder structure so you can find the right image to select.

• drive.photos.readonly — to let you browse and select images from Google Photos for use in a print design.

How this data is used: Google user data accessed through these scopes is used solely to let you pick an image and bring it into your Framico order. We do not use this data for advertising, do not build user profiles from it, and do not use it to train AI or machine learning models of any kind, in compliance with the Limited Use requirements of the Google API Services User Data Policy.

What we do not do: We do not access your full Drive or Photos library beyond what you explicitly select, and we do not modify, delete, or share other files in your Google Account.

Purpose and Use of Personal Data

We use your data to:

• Provide and improve our services.

• Manage your account and process orders.

• Handle payments and invoicing.

• Communicate with you and respond to requests.

• Offer customer support.

• Maintain the security of our website.

Data Protection and Security

We apply the following safeguards to protect your personal data, including any Google user data accessed through our services:

• Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit (using HTTPS/TLS) and at rest on our servers.

• Access controls: Only authorized personnel and systems with a legitimate operational need (such as preparing your print order) can access your data. Google user data is never accessible to third parties outside the service providers listed in this policy.

• No unauthorized sharing: Google user data is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising purposes.

• Sensitive data: Payment details are processed through PCI-compliant third-party payment processors; Framico does not store full card numbers on its own servers.

Data Retention and Deletion

• Order and account data: Retained for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

• Google user data: Images imported from Google Drive or Google Photos are retained only as long as needed to produce and ship your order, and are deleted from our active systems once the order is complete, unless you have saved the design to your account design library. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see below).

• Revoking access: You can disconnect Framico's access to your Google Account at any time via your Google Account permissions page. Disconnecting stops all future access; it does not automatically delete data already imported, which you can request separately using the contact details below.

• Deletion requests: You may request deletion of your personal data, including any Google user data, by contacting us at support@framico.com. We will complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.

Sharing of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your data without your consent, except in the following circumstances:

• Data Transfer and Storage: Your data may be stored or processed on servers in various countries in compliance with local regulations.

• Group Companies: We may share your data with our subsidiaries or parent company for service delivery.

• Third-Party Service Providers: We engage third parties for printing, payment processing, and customer service. These providers access only necessary data and are bound by confidentiality agreements. Google user data is never shared with these providers beyond what is strictly necessary to fulfill your specific order (e.g., sending the selected image file to our printing partner).

• Legal Compliance and Protection: We may disclose personal data to comply with laws or protect our rights and safety or that of others.

• Business Transfers: In the event of a business sale or merger, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction.

Your Data Rights

• Cookies and Tracking Technologies: You can manage cookie settings through your browser or our website.

• Opting Out of Marketing: You can unsubscribe from marketing communications through your account settings or the unsubscribe links in emails.

• Accessing and Managing Your Data: You can view, update, or delete your data through your account or by contacting us.

• Google Account Data: You may revoke Framico's access to your Google Account and request deletion of any imported Google user data at any time, as described in the section above.

Framico acts as a Data Controller for your data per EU GDPR.
